Binge drinking

The term binge drinking can be translated as “intoxicated drinking”. In media reporting, the word “binge drinking” is also frequently used, whereby this term describes, on the one hand, actual cases in which consumers have fallen into a coma as a result of alcohol consumption, and on the other hand, the drinking of a large quantity of alcohol in a relatively short period of time. In the latter case, the term corresponds to the English binge drinking.
