Welcome to our forum!

To make you feel as comfortable as all the members, a few remarks in advance, please read them carefully and take them to heart.

Here it is like at home: disturbing neighbors and fellow tenants can spoil the fun. That's why we have house rules here, too. Actually, the rules are simple.

To make sure everything runs smoothly, there is a "janitor" in the forum. He is recognizable by his user name. The job of the janitor is done by different users, because nobody can watch over a forum around the clock. We strongly recommend not to start any discussion or even argument with the janitor. His sole purpose is to keep the house comfortable for everyone.

House rules

1) First commandment: Respect. We give you the option to post under pseudonym - the sensitive subject requires it. However, when choosing your pseudonym, please do not use terms that violate the personal or trademark rights of others or are vulgar and/or offensive.

Nevertheless, anonymity should not tempt you to behave without distance. Simple rule: Write in a post only what you would say directly to the face of your counterpart if you were standing face to face. Keyboard heroism and vulgarity is undesirable. If you de-anonymize another member (whom you may happen to know), you will be kicked out on the spot.

2) Please familiarize yourself with the concept. We assume in the forum that you have read into the concept, you want to implement it and or have questions about details and everyday tips before it can start. Please refrain from asking basic information - which can be clarified by reading - in the forum. Specifically, questions like "Can someone explain to me in more detail if vitamins are good when quitting alcohol?" are undesirable. There is a lot of information on this topic in the book.

3) This forum is for the exchange of information among members who want to quit alcohol on the basis of the concept. It does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment. Any measures you implement for yourself based on the information found in this forum are solely your own responsibility. This also applies if the authors themselves answer questions or take a stand here. The authors do not give individual advice, neither in the nutritional nor in the medical sense.

4) All members have the same problem: alcohol. Nevertheless, it manifests itself differently and with varying severity for everyone - just as the strategies for saying goodbye to alcohol in everyday life are not completely the same for everyone. We therefore ask you to refrain from generalizations. In your posts, please always keep it to yourself. Specifically: "It has helped me ...." or "I have made the experience that ....".

Anyone writing while recognizably drunk must expect to have their writing privileges temporarily revoked for their own protection.

5) The concept and the book are based on a biochemically and medically solid foundation. General medical advice around further so-called natural or complementary medicine is expressly undesirable here. This includes especially homeopathy and other questionable medical procedures.

6) Third party links (no matter where to, texts, youtube ....) are not welcome. This also applies to screenshots or images to which someone else may hold the copyrights. If you want to explain a fact, be so respectful and formulate it in your own words. The editors cannot check every linked text or video for legal admissibility - which they would have to do given the current legal situation - nor can they clarify whether copyright has been violated for every image.

Justifications such as "you'll have to google it, there's a lot on the net" are undesirable. On google you can also find evidence that the earth is flat. Either, you can clearly formulate and prove facts yourself - or you just stay with yourself in your posting and write ".... has helped me" or "I have made the experience that .... has done me good."

7) Any kind of advertising is unwanted and will be deleted without comment. This also and especially applies to multi-level marketing. A note to sellers of such products: We will check with every product mention whether the contributor sells these products himself. If this is the case, we will revoke his writing rights in the forum without warning. The same applies to other advertising. In other words, this forum is not a suitable platform for acquisition, whether for you or for third parties. Make it easy for yourself and us and please refrain from doing so from the start.

8) Copying posts to other forums is prohibited. This also applies to the Facebook forum on the topic. Members who repeatedly violate this will unfortunately have to leave the forum. What is written here, stays here. And only here.

9) Calls to create any groups outside the forum (WhatsApp and the like) are undesirable and will be deleted without comment. We support each other in the group, selfishness or echo chambers do not help. If you want to communicate directly, please use the direct message function of the forum software - which is available to you as soon as you have written a few forum posts.

10) We do not delete and block without reason. Please refrain from posts that address exactly that ("Why was post XYZ locked"). We will also delete such posts.
